Survived By: Ed is survived by his father, Rafael Figueras Tirado; sister, Diantha Figueras Castillo; brother, Drek Figueras Mejias (wife, Dawn); nieces, Chulynda Castellanos (husband, Pat) and Alyssa Rudd (husband, Jesse); nephews, Timothy Castillo Figueras, Ian Castillo Figueras (wife, Denise) and Tristan Figueras; and 9 great nieces and nephews, Shailey, Hagen, Kelby, Zoey, Ayden, Alayna, Piper, Eric and Leo. His great loves were his dogs, Koa and Kai, who brought him joy and comfort for the last 6 years.

Ed’s career in database management spanned over 30 years including the past 16 years at Joint Base San Antonio for the Air Force Services Center where he was blessed with countless team members and management who were like a second family.
