Jeff Adams was like a brother to me throughout high school. We became fast friends and I fondly remember Jeff and our friend Dave Williams calling me all the time -- on three way (smile) and talking about the girls in school. I knew so doggone much about how young men's minds worked that those two kept me ahead of the game -- in most cases.
Jeff was a confident, outgoing person and we were self-proclaimed "brother and sister." Ironically, Jeff's big brother Rodney (someone Jeff truly admired) married my cousin. So we ended up becoming family after all.
I recently saw Jeff's son -- of course his namesake at my cousin's home in Dallas. I was telling him how close I was to his dad. And he was hanging on to my every word. That touched my heart.

Jeffery was a great all around guy. I enjoyed hanging out with him because he had a knack for making me laugh. I regret losing touch with him over the years as we must grow and move on. Does anyone know what happened to Jeffery?
